Gene is simply the best. The entire process of working with Gene was a joy and a privilege. We first met with Gene to explain our budget and must-haves. He organized the entire process, apartment viewings and communications with listing agents and landlords. He was an advocate for both myself and my roommate, making sure to ask direct and thoughtful questions that I would not have considered. He drove to and from each location. He was incredibly communicative, thoughtful and responsive. In the end, Gene found us the perfect apartment which had not even been listed yet. The best realtor I have ever met!! He WANTS to help you and WILL help you! Getting an apartment/condo in NYC is difficult, especially when you own your own business and just graduated. He worked day and night for me, left dinners to answer my call, was knowledgeable about all the options out there for my case, and put together a great day of apartment viewings. Day of apartment viewings, I saw some buildings that caught my interest that weren’t on the list, and Gene was on it!

As freelancers it's a bit tougher when searching, so he made sure we had all our ducks in a row & helped assist in the application process tremendously. I can’t say enough positive things about Gene - he listened thoughtfully to the criteria we gave him for what we wanted (and didn’t want) and never pushed or even showed us a place that didn’t fit what we were looking for. He conveniently arranged showing schedules so that we could see 8 locations in one day and drove us to each one - maximum efficiency which helped with comparing different units and made it easier to take time off of work. Gene promised to find us a place in 2-3 weeks and sure enough, 3 weeks later we signed the lease on our dream apartment. He was professional, thoughtful, efficient, and incredibly responsive at all times of the day. If you’re looking for your perfect home in the city, Gene is your guy.
